Pre-commit hook not working

• deptry version: 0.24.0
• Python version: 3.14.2
• Operating system (e.g. Ubuntu 22.04, Windows 11): macos 26.2

Hello, first of all, thank you for such an excellent project, but I have encountered a problem with pre-commit.

I created a repository to reproduce the problem.

If I try to commit a change to the main.py file, I get an error:

deptry...................................................................Failed
- hook id: deptry
- exit code: 1
Executable `deptry` not found

Ref #592 and #936, it's probably not a good idea to build this from source for pre-commit.
https://github.com/francescorubbo/deptry-pre-commit exists as a mirror, until there's a first-party mirror.
