Migrate from news Extension to t3extblog

This extension is so feature rich that it makes tx news looks stale. However, with news being around for so long, there's a LOT of sites that have many news records. So, I'm wondering if/how it's possible to migrate news records to t3extblog format? Keep up the great work!

Sadly there is no migration tool yet (as far as I know) but migration shouldn't be too hard. The database structure is pretty similar (at least when you are using tt_content IRRE elements).
