I don't know if this is something you can fix on your side, but we get this error in Ubuntu 16.04.

AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'SSL_ST_INIT'
Upgrading pyopenssl (pip install 'pyopenssl>=16.2.0') fixes the problem, but I rather not do that (system wide).
