I did manage to get it working with

Seems very similar to prime.py

I also managed to get light effect color-shift and steady working. When I thoroughly test it and have some more time I'll aim to open a PR.

Newbie here, so please pardon my ignorance. How did you go about getting this to work? I'm really not too keen on buying a new mouse to troubleshoot polling rate causing fps issues lol

I will try to work on this device once I finished with the Rival5.

@WinsTooLittle he getting it working by adding the code to https://github.com/flozz/rivalcfg/blob/master/rivalcfg/devices/prime.py file. But i cannot recommend doing this as I am unsure if the Prime and Prime+ work the same. I am trying to get more info :)

Hey sorry for vague message and thank you @flozz for helping explain. I'm happy to help test and even open a PR if that helps. I can get to it next week.
I also came across this which might have some helpful info about this device https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/tree/master/keyboards/steelseries/prime_plus

My little temporary tweak for rivalcfg works on Windows and Linux and from what I can gather the Prime+ supports everything the Prime can do plus some additional features. So yes it would be best for it to have it's own prime_plus.py file so that it's features can be expanded upon if desired.

@BenJamesAndo I am interested on any info you have about this device. What is similar or different from the Prime mouse, what works or not, any pcap file or description of the protocol... :)

Initial support of this mouse is on master. It will be released in the next Rivalcfg version :)

Missing features:

• OLED screen under the mouse
• Lift-off distance
• Advanced color / illumination configurations
• Button bindings for mouse wheel (scroll)
