Rival 710 Color Wheel not set

Bug description

What happened

The -c or --logo-color command sets both color wheel and logo. The -C or wheel-color arguments do nothing.

What was expected

The commands to set each leds separately.

Step to reproduce

It is reproduceable by using the commands in terminal after installation.

→

rivalcfg -c=#ff0000

Sets both leds to red.

rivalcfg -C=#00ff00

Sets nothing. Leds stay red.

Off topic, but I would love to update the screen too! is it complex to implement? :) Would be cool to update them in game haha. (im a linux game dev, would be fun to add)

Minor update still no idea what's up with the colorwheel atm but still looking into it and for the off topic yeah i have the oled screen and haptic feedback working.

Hi,
Just trying the software and found that -C indeed does not work on Rival 500. -c or --logo-color changes both the logo and the wheel at the same time.
Perhaps the color registers are packed or shifted and they must be both written at the same time?

Hey guys, I know it's been ages, but do you think you could get the OLED working?
I just recently switched to Linux and the OLED of the mouse is the only thing I didn't find a solution for.. :(

As I haven't this device I cannot work on the reverse of its OLED screen ^^'

There were some work in progress PR about that but there were no update since years now :(
