Problem with switching the settings panel

Environment

Version: 2026.0.0-rc-2

Bug Description

Don't change panel settings when switching BPMN elements.

Steps To Reproduce

• Open the process designer
• Create a diagram with several different BPMN elements
• Open the settings panel
• Open the drop-down list in the combo box
• Switch to another BPMN element

Current Behavior

The settings panel won't switch. The settings panel won't switch. The issue doesn't always reproduce.

The same problem appears on Linux with IDEA 252 and Flowset Studio 2026.0.0-rc3.
