What's the process for porting to a new Arduino boad?

I have two Arduino-compatible boards that I want to port eForth to - a Teensy 4.1 and an Electo-Smith Daisy. Both work with the Arduino IDE They're both Arm Cortex with the floating point hardware. I don't need assemblers initially but I assume I can develop them if I do - I'm pretty familiar with the GNU assembler for the RP2040.

Sorry for the slow reply.

So Teensy and Electo-Smith Daisy both look like they'd have plenty of RAM (more than an ESP32), so most likely you could get things off the ground starting with the esp32 directory as a guide and trim most things out.

I'd do something like:
Copy the contents of esp32/ into a new arduino-generic/ directory (or similar).
Add a reference to it in the top level BUILD
Then drop most things except probably: main.cpp platform.fs autoboot.fs and rename esp32_boot.fs and pare it down.

I'm fooling around with coding agents at the moment and one of the things I want to throw at them is that stalled Forth project where I'm looking to get things running on the Teensy, Daisy and RP2040 / 2350. I have some new hardware with the RP2040 in it that just open sourced their SDK! https://github.com/bastl-instruments/kastle2. It's in pure-ish C++ though, not Arduino. The Teensy, Daisy and RP2xx0 can do either, and can do PlatformIO as well. PlatformIO is interesting because that's what Mitch Bradley's C Forth uses on micro-controllers.
