Crashing OS due to massive RAM usage #14

Many thanks for creating this opensource project. It has proven valuable and well working with rosbags up to a certain size.
I'm now running into issues with rosbags that exceed ~2GB in size. The RAM gets completely filled until the point the whole OS crashes.
The issue is reproducible on my laptop with 32GB RAM running Ubuntu 24 in WSL as well as on a desktop with 32GB RAM.
This seems to stem from the fact, that big topics are still loaded into the RAM as a whole instead of streaming or saving it piece-by-piece.
