This isn't related to the functionality of the attribute/module itself, but the documentation isn't visible on the page of the website. The relevant section has

Apologize if this isn't the right place for this type of issue -- but I'm unable to post on the support forums.

Spent WAY too long trying to get customselect working, only to finally reveal the hidden section of the page to learn I needed a blank link element for the dropdown list template. Trying to prevent someone else from spinning wheels without access to the hidden info.

Thank you @willtate, we're aware of this, our team is working on new docs for all the Attributes that are part of the Accessible Components library. ETA is end of Q2 / beginning of Q3.

I'll keep this issue open to track it.
