[filter] Sorting only applies to individual column, not the entire sheet

Trying to sort a sheet by a specific column in either ascending or descending order only sorts that individual column, not the entire sheet. Is this expected behavior?

Thanks for flagging this!

We're now reviewing how sorting should apply across the full sheet, it might be helpful to add a clearer "sort sheet" vs "sort range".
