Entire page crashes when switching to "Wind Rose" mode

When I switch to the "Wind Rose" plot in the display options, the page freezes and then entire page crashes.

I'm using Grafana server version 5.4.2 on Arch Linux and my web browser is Chromium. The same thing happens in Firefox, but it doesn't give me the error page, it just freezes the browser.

I am seeing the same thing, Chrome Linux and Grafana all the latest versions. Nothing appears in the debug console of chrome.
