Grafana 7.1.3 crashes when Windrose gets data from influxdb

Got myself a nice wind direction/speed sensor. Through domitcz it's data goes to InfluxDB.
Choosing the Windrose plug-in with the windrose diagram works, however as soon as I assign a database query to it, Grafana crashes.
I guess - correct me if I'm wrong - the plugin is made for grafana 4.x, my version is 7.1.3, Is it possible that there is a compatablity issue?

Same here. I am using it on Grafana Cloud. The plugin crashes when I try to fetch from InfluxDB.
I choose the data type as "table".
Is the timestamp making this issue?

When using InfluxDB, how did you stipulate the angle and distance fields? The dropdown on the plugin has no list of fields to select from.
