Regarding Pointer Locks

Hi, thanks for the library. Indeed a great educational tool.

My knowledge of C++ is limited and Im only starting to learn about threads (Through this repo as well). My question is,

• Is there an example in which multithreading is used for training the NN?
• What would be the consequences if I were to remove anything to do threading and instead use normal raw/smart pointers?

Hi,

If you want to use the repo without threads you need to perform a topological sort of the computational graph and then solve each node in order, right now it uses conditional variables to wait for the input of each node to become available, locking ptrs prevent race condition for the data referenced by them when using threading
