MacOS: wrong prompt when leaving directory

When I cd to the directory of a git repo, the prompt changes as expected. But when I cd home the prompt remains does not go back to normal.

Did you write the function "update_terminal_cwd"? If not, you can set "Force_Default_Prompt=1" in your .bash_profile, before "source git-prompt". Eduard

Does that solve the problem? I don't know what the other function does, but it's weird that it's a PROMP_COMMAND that does not change PS1.
