Toy duration #87

hmm... that might actually be feasible. But that would only be possible for toys which give you a buff directly. Toys, which place something on the ground or spawn an Npc are usually triggered by the server, are probably much harder to track, since they are usually spawned by the server. Overall I think it's a great idea. 👍 |

That was a quick reply! Thanks for looking into it, seems doable then. Yes there is a lot of variety in the way toys behave, so how buff / duration time is displayed or perceived differs a lot, for example chalice of the mountain kings just displays a visual effect, there is no buff, yet this effect lingers for a specific set amount of time. But don't stress this feature, its only for the enjoyment of the small subset of people (me) :D . One could just simply create the map table manually, 1k toys is a lot but not infinite, if there is problem with fetching data from the api. |

Hi!
Perhaps there already exists a current way of achieving this, either ingame or with other addons, but is it possible to add a duration disclaimer in the toy tooltips located in the toy collection frame? Since many tooltips doesn't mention the duration of the toy buff, very annoying indeed. I'm uncertain if that could successfully be automated, otherwise there is ofc the option of manually building this mapping with toy id = buff time and appending the string to the tooltip. Perhaps this could also be linked with the filter setting, example filter transformation toys that last a certain time of amount. And once again, I could have just missed some already existing feature for this.
Thoughts @exochron ?
