`field selection` validation fails for some users

Bug
There is not a lot of detail to put here. Zulf is having an issue with field selection failing validation. However, when UI team tried recreating they were unable to have it happen.

This is clearly happening on his machine and not sure what is different between the two.

Expected
This should not happen or at least happen consistently.

Marking as no reproduction and moving to backlog for now. We have added an event in LR and can keep an eye on it.
