Golden Cookie timers disappear from infobox

Occasionally, the Golden Cookie timers run out without a Golden Cookie spawning, and GC Minimum/Estimate/Maximum disappear from the infobox.
The Golden Switch is not active in these case.
Mostly seen early in an ascension.

Most likely some issue with probabilitySpan (which is very complex)

I think it's because purchasing Serendipity/Lucky Day doesn't change the GC timer until after the next Golden Cookie spawns, but FC lowers its predicted GC timer immediately upon purchase of those upgrades

Possible. Although I have seen it occur after the clover upgrades had already been bought.

That's what I'm saying. It's WHEN the clover upgrades are purchased that can make FC's GC timer run out and disappear (at least from what I've seen). FC thinks the timer gets lowered the moment the upgrades get purchased, but that isn't the case. Cookie Clicker doesn't change the timer immediately, the timer gets changed AFTER THE NEXT GC SPAWNS. Until then, Cookie Clicker uses the timer from before the upgrades were purchased. This means that when Serendipity/Lucky Day get purchased, there's a desync between when Cookie Clicker spawns the next GC and when FC thinks the next GC will spawn. I hope I've clarified my earlier comment.

I just found out that it can also occur when Golden Cookie Frequency is being modified by Garden Plants.

Drowsyfern lowers frequency, causing the timer to disappear, but other plants that increase frequency like Golden Clover can create the opposite problem of GCs spawning well before the timer thinks they would.

There might be other upgrades and effects the GC timer is not accounting for.

Closing this as a wontfix since the problem is so deep in the code I am not going to be able to fix it without a full rewrite.

This is linked to the framerate as well. I installed Cookie Monster to show some extra stats, and it tracks the timer correctly when you change framerate.
