Is it possible to open local files?

First of all thank you very much for this very cool and helpful tool.
May I ask a question regarding the file location?
Is it possible to open a local file? I have tried the local file adress (e.g. file:///C:/Images/TestSlide.svs) but it have not worked.

Hi @catweis , thanks for checking out the tool! It is possible to open a local file, although the demo doesn't have an option for it just yet. If you'd like to try, we have a separate tool at https://episphere.github.io/micropath where you should be able to load a local slide and view it, if supported. Note that this tool is also completely client-side and works from your machine directly, so you aren't uploading your slide anywhere. Just in case that's a concern.
