Support json output option to `pipe` command

Background
It would be very helpful to add a new option --output-format (-of) to the pipe commands (e.g., view-runs in addition to the existing table view) to allow output in json format (e.g. --output-format json). This would make the output more user-friendly and easier to use in other steps (e.g. in automated workflows).
