Convert to Binary?

I was wondering how hard would it be to encore the file directly as binary, as it's much more compressed..
Is it feasible with Javascript?

Unfortunately I don't know how to do that. A quick web search didn't turn up any great pointers, and I probably won't have the time to investigate this further.
Of course I am happy to include this option should someone solve it.
