New mlpack os headers only so doesn't have libmlpack.so

I am trying to build NR-SLAM on Ubuntu 24.04. I have installed all the dependencies and everything else is working fine unless there is a problem in NR-SLAM that requires libmlpack.so to be available. Otherwise it doesn't build. Since mlpack is now a header only library, what is the workaround on this problem?
