Description
Hi,
I'm blanking a little on a title for this so please do change it if you can call this something else.
What slurp currently does is awesome and works most of the time! A feature i miss though is the ability to redraw a rectangle. Say i did draw a rectangle but i accidentally made it too small/big/wrong. What i do now is simply rerun slurp and select again.
What i'm thinking of is adding one extra command line option:
-ok <keyboard keycode> The keyboard code (like Enter) that has to be pressed to accept the current rectangle selection
When that -ok code is set, slurp would behave a little different. It would:
- The rectangle you just drew, it stays on screen. You can redraw a new rectangle.
- The drawn rectangle can be dragged
- Upon pressing the keycode, the selection is dumped to stdout. No change in output other then it waiting for the keycode before it's output
Tools like KDEs screenshot tool have this behavior too (along with a lot more).
Any thoughts on this?
