Doesn't even open

the thing just straight up doesn't open. it opens a window for a split second, and then closes it. On task manager it's still running, just doing absolutely nothing. It's not blocked by my system, I've checked. I've even tried the portable version. It just doesn't even start.

It wont open a window initially, it runs in the background, you should get an icon in the action tray that you can right click to open setting window or sequence window

is it possible for you to take a screen recording of you opening it from the action tray? (up-to-date snipping tool should be able to do this, or OBS)
