Of the shorteners listed in #4, t.co seems to not provide a HTTP redirect that is followed by the AJAX client. That means that we get a page back that only contains a meta redirect to the final location.
In order to support t.co I think we need to make a request to the t.co URL, parse the html response's meta tag to get the final URL and then make another request for the final page. Any better ideas?
