Ports 30881 and 30882

I have installed 2 instances for testing which work fine for messaging as I can route https/http traffic appropriately but both are trying to use the same rtc ports which I'm forwarding from my router, so they can only go to one host.

I just wondered if there's any way during the install to adjust those ports.

The default configuration of these ports is as follows

      rtcTcp:
        port: 30881
      rtcMuxedUdp:
        port: 30882

You can change those values, but will likely have to stay in the range 30000-32767

Thank you! I took a guess and created a new file for this is config-values and ran the install through - after that a kubectl get all shows the new ports I chose ;-)

Confess I'm struggling to understand how k3s works - it is very complex compared to my well-used compose setups but I have to persevere because ESS finally delivers a usable matrix (with RTC) implementation. For eejits like me this is the way - feel the same way about Nextcloud AIO.

Lol - spoke too soon - media won't start in a call with the amended ports - need to do some more testing clearly

Now more confused - went back to my original instance which has always used 30881 and 30882 and works fine for calls. When I do a netstat in the VMs terminal I don't see those ports even though calls are up. I had assumed that they would be exposed out of the containers. If they aren't then they shouldn't need changing?

The issue happens when I try to talk between the 2 instances - calls within either start just fine, but calling between will not establish correctly. Invites/text chat between instances work perfectly. Is there anything I need to do to make calling work?

I will install one on an external VPS and test with that but if that doesn't work then I'm stumped.
