Icon not working on COSMIC DE

I am using the COSMIC Desktop Environment, and have set the -I option in my config file; however, the icon for the battery is not displaying in my notification.

My config file:

-p
-P "Plugged In"
-U "Unplugged"
-F "Battery full!"
-I /usr/share/icons/Cosmic/scalable/apps/preferences-power-and-battery.svg
-m 30
-f 100

Is it because the icon is a svg?

Batsignal uses libnotify to send notifications. Looking through the libnotify source, when you pass a file path as the icon name, it loads the contents of the file as a bytes array and creates a GBytesIcon.

GBytesIcon specifies an image held in memory in a common format (usually png) to be used as icon

So, while it’s not explicitly stated, my guess would be that a vector format like SVG is not supported.
