Arc Diagrams - Feature Request

I think the graph could be improved by simplifying it and making it look prettier.

Here's some rough inspiration, the arc diagram:

As a conceptual example, for an election with one voter, the graph should be just a line going from top to bottom through all the candidates.

In another example, if an election has a cycle between any candidates, the downward arrows could be on the right side, and the upward arcs could be on the left side, so we have an advantage that we can visually see which relationships are backwards.

Maybe we don't need to show the downward arcs. This could be an option to make the graph easier to glance at, or it could be the default.

I've been mulling this over since you brought it up. I guess I can see how making the linear path clearer would potentially make it so that the jumbled mess we see on elections like the SF 2024 mayoral (this one: https://abif.electorama.com/id/sf2024-mayor ) a little easier to visually analyze. I think the layout for elections with fewer candidates (like this one: https://abif.electorama.com/id/Burl2009 ) looks fine. I suppose the best next step might be to add alternative visualizations. More food for thought....
