[otel] Smoke test opentelemetry-collector exporter #846
Description
Once open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-contrib#240 is merged, we should introduce some smoke tests into our regular integrating testing to ensure our exporter remains functional.
We can use Docker images from https://hub.docker.com/r/otel/opentelemetry-collector-contrib-dev, which appear to be built daily.
