Separate alert and settings for Hostile aircraft

Hi,

First, thanks for the excellent app.

Lately the issue of hostile aircrafts (UAVs) is more complicated and many times the alerts system is not covering the actual area of impact (eg hit of kindergaurden in Nesher and Naharia warehouse).

My suggestion is to allow user to configure secondary alerts from near by areas only for Hostile Aircraft intrusion (instead of the cureent all type of alerts recieved). In this way users can get early notice that possible event is on going and follow on the situation or take a decision on what to do even if alet was not heard in thier location, while not being bothered when the near by areas are noticed on missles/rockets where hit esstimation is more accurate.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion! I will definitely consider it.

In the meantime, I recommend enabling Secondary Alerts and selecting a calm, short sound for nearby cities so that you can stay updated on UAV threats in those areas. Rocket alerts for those nearby cities will also play the selected sound, but since it is a short/calm sound, it will not cause panic.
