can this be used to export channel posts?

This is a great tool. But we want to export the channel posts instead of single chat. Can this tool be used for exporting channel posts?

Channel posts see to have a different structure and probably require other APIs to get their posts. Although this tool doesn't support it, that doesn't mean it can be used as a basis.
If anyone is willing to investigate how this works, PRs are welcome :)
