Is it just my fire TV stick (4K 2nd gen) that the app does not really play movies? When I finally managed to play a file it does not fast forward. Is this a known bug?

Is there a reason (beside smaller file sizes) why the android apk files are compressed in github? makes it way more complicated to install them on fire TV sticks. please upload them as simple decompressed apk if possible.

new version 1.27 does not play any mkv file, but loads minutes to start playing. no problem on plex client, so it is not the hardware.
