FDB Sink performance numbers #201

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
As a user and Maestro developer, and part of our benchmarking efforts in DestinE, it would sure be very useful to be able to:
- assess the performance of the FDB Sink, with for instance bandwidth and wallclock time of the whole archiving process per step or (consumer retrieve/read stats also needed)
- assess how wallclock time is divided between compute and IO (also per step?)

Perhaps FDB Sink stats either in ifs.log or in some other reasonable file for the user to access and understand the numbers?
