In the book or trade booking UIs, we can see the current state of a book, seeing the quantity of each security present in the book but we can't see what is the market value of these securities.
In addition of the book view showing quantity, create a view where we'll see the MTM instead of the quantity. As the security prices can be quoted in different currencies, give the possibility to select a currency, so all MTM will be converted in this currency (otherwise the pie chart will be inconsistent; all MTM must be in the same currency to be compared).
