Is there any way to mimic clamdscan behaviour with this gem?

However, I notice that this gem does not attempt to connect to an existing `clamd` running on the same machine. Doing this will really speed up scanning process. I'm basically looking for the equivalent of `clamdscan --fdpass` with this gem.

Would that be possible?
