Question: Volume control / Skip ahead

I noticed there are settings for "Volume increment" and "Skip length" in the configuration, but I can't figure out how to actually use these features. The player sidebars don't appear to be interactive (which seems intentional for the minimal design), so I'm wondering:

1. Are these controlled via keyboard shortcuts that aren't documented?
2. Are these settings for planned features that haven't been implemented yet?
3. Is there a bug preventing these controls from working?

It would be helpful to know what keyboard shortcuts are available (if any) or if there's another way to access volume and skip controls that I'm missing. The disconnect between having these settings available but no apparent way to use them is a bit confusing.

When your cursor is on the window, you can use mousewheel to in- / decrease the volume. But I also trying to figure out how to use the "skip length" feature or any way to use the progress bar directly to move ahead / backwards.
