for example right now am working on some documention about the need for the particular fortran - fortran-10 v6 - and will make it clear that you were the one who discovered that and then taught that, so that particular wheel doesn't have to be reinvented again thanks to your work!:)

Also what is decwarjs a javascript version?

yep my understanding is - could get some details wrong here because have really only played it a bit so far - is that it's javascript running in a 'node js environment' - think that's a server side / backend environment in which javascript version of the game runs as essentially a single 'process'? and then there are javascript ui aspects on top of that - for example the webpage that has a vt100 terminal where you can enter the game.

dont know much about it - but when i wanted to make a ui to 'show the galaxy' was looking around at options. all seemed a bit painful for me cause am a 'pure numerical computing' guy. but eric pointed out, well, you can be a bit artistic and approach it the way lots of arts people do these days, with p5js https://p5js.org/ - so did that and it worked out pretty nice! rather than a 'desktop app gui' it's a wepage! hahaha - never thought would do something like that, but it worked and was kinda fun:)

Harris, I really don't have anything against you. But the reality is you were always an impediment never a help.
That's just a fact. Don't you remember the times me and cecil stanford use to beg you for a look at the source code and all you would do is release snippets of it, teasing us? Anyway this is not the proper place for this.

I figured out a way I could get it released, by returning it to UT as soon as I found out about the Briscoe museum. I couldn't distribute it with the license. I'm also developing a decwar clone in go. Based on 2.2, using the docs and simh to figure out the details. Telnet decwars.Com 1702. I am working on phasers and hit announcements. I'm getting there. Try it, I would appreciate comments!

Harris, at 12:20 approx in your interview with UT Austin you state that Myself and Noah are trying to reverse engineer the CIS (CompuServe) source code, but you donot believe this effort will come to anything.
I challenge you sir. You do not understand that I reverse engineered the code some 10 years ago and it compiles from scratch ?
I am wondering if you would like to place some MONEY where your mouth is sir?
