Overwrite of preset without prompt

If you add a preset to the preset tree, then while it is still the selected node, make another preset by adding another file in the files list (and perhaps removing the first file as well), and then give your new preset a new name and click Save Preset, it overwrites the existing preset without warning. Surely this is not desirable behavior, at least there should be a prompt to overwrite first?
