I think ASCII text and weather features are very independent by definition. So, the sync function will be desired to work with fields from both as optional..

Maybe some users don't want to create the account to get the API key

Hello and thanks for that report, my watch unfortunately stopped working a week ago, so I will discontinue that project as I am not using it anymore and am unable to test it on a real device.

In order to solve your problem, I suggest you to fork that repository, update the settings html page located in /docs and enable github pages. You will then be able to modify the javascript to reach the desired result.
