Multiple blocks?

Any interest in supporting multiple blocks? Layouts with multiple named insertion points that can be extended by other layouts/templates that define content overrides for the parents' named sections.

Or does that warrant a separate module?

@doowb and I talked about this a while back, I think we thought it was a good idea but couldn't decide what that would look like. any ideas for conventions/syntax etc?
