FEATURE REQUEST: Tag Cloud tags with 'categories', remove them but show the tag

I love this plug but...

1. I was using tag with 'simple' tags like Process and Data which appear correctly in the ~~TAGCLOUD~~

2. But then I wanted to use filtertag to filter and so I am using 'complex' tags for example: object_type:Process and object_type:Data

3. Those complex tags appear in the Tag cloud completely, in my example I see object_type:Process and object_type:Data. What I actually want to see is Process and Data.

I couldn't find a way to ignore the 'tag category', in my example 'object_type' in the same way as the Tag plugin does when it displays tags on the page

Could this feature be added please?
