Does not translate the 'subheader' field

Does not translate the 'subheader' field in the basic element of the text content!
Does anyone experience this behavior?

TYPO3 12.4, dd_deepl 12.7

@DmcomNGW The extension filters input fields that have a "softref" set in TCA:

Apparently the core sets this to "email[subst]" by default. They only have this for subheaders though, not headers:

Maybe you can override that field somehow so it doesn't have the softref. I'm probably just gonna change that line so it allows subheader in my fork for now. Changed it in my fork like so: kauz56@d668845.
Could use a more elegant solution, but this will have to suffice for me until other fields with this issue appear..

I looked into it and I do not think (any longer) that this is a bug. It works as intended, maybe just not as expected. Maybe this should be named in the documentation.

@rintisch Good idea with the EventListener, for those that don't want to fork. I still think subheader should get translated by default though.

I think I will add a flag to force translations of some fields.
