Make Conway's Game of Life component react to input audio #91

The Conway's Game of Life component currently has nothing to do with audio visualizations. I would like to change this somehow to make the component more relevant to this program. Not totally sure what to do yet but I have three ideas to explore:

  1. Ripple the grid visually in response to audio
  2. Apply some kind of colour effect in response to audio
  3. Spawn/kill some cells in response to audio (could be most interesting if done well, but seems hard)

I also think more options for pre-made grids should be included in a drop-down, as making your own cell patterns is pretty hard. Right now it starts with a queen bee shuttle but I can include more from that wiki. Maybe have some logic for resetting back to initial state if the grid is ever completely empty, optionally using a boomerang effect or something to smooth it out to allow non-infinite patterns to be used.
