Hmmm that didnt work for me, it was like the lva was so proud of it self
for playing the alarm it couldn't be bothered to check for the wake word.
Currently resurrecting an old alcatel 8085 to function as a display for
various parts and toying with the idea of having a big "kill alarm" button
as a conditional when any alarm is playing (assuming the alarm and timer
blueprint has a isPlaying boolean and a public stopAlarm() function or what
ever the scripting equivalents of those are lol (my c# mind is struggling a
bit with home assistants scripting language)
Could be a fun project/rabbithole for my day off lol

Hi there:
canceltimer:
name: Cancel Timer
description: "Sentences to stop or cancel a timer/alarm."
default:
- "cancel my {name} (alarm | timer | reminder)"
- "cancel my (alarm | timer | reminder) for {when}"
- "(Turn off | cancel | stop) [my] (alarm | timer | reminder)"
These are the options. Things in () are required and those in [] are
optional. The | means or so you can say:
Turn off alarm
Cancel my timer

Hmm.. Odd. Are you seeing an error in the automation trace when you speak the trigger sentence? Know that these have to match exactly otherwise it will not work. Discord is really the best place for support by the way. Consider joining. We're a nice bunch. |

Think I am on the discord, but not at a pc at mo. I did switch the whisper
model for a better one last night, with out the PC booted I dare not
test... knowing it has to be exact... and hear me over the alarm... may be
exactly what the issue was. My universal cancel button plan may be a good
fallback lol

Ok so view assist blue print is in charge of all timers and specifically has a way to handle audio only.
I have Linux Voice Assistant running on the server PC in the front room.
I added a sound file for an alarm (30 second looping file)
Set a timer.
Timer went off... all good.
"Hey jarvis stop".... alarm continues.
"Hey jarvis end timer".... alarm continues
"HEY JARVIS PLEASE STOP" magic word ignored alarm continues
"Hey jarvis".... nothing....
Had to pull the speaker, then load up pc, log into potainer and reboot the lva container.
I am new to home assistant, slowly replacing my alexia set up but this has given me pause. Please tell me I simply missed something obvious
