I2C support

I have been using this library extensively on PCDuino and I love it. I need to use I2C bus. I see that you have it as work in progress. Do you have any update on I2C support? thank you

Thanks for using the library and I am happy that you like it!
Sorry for answering so late, but I got busy with a lot of other projects on my work. I didn't completed the I2C support for this library (still work in progress...) but I plan to do this in the beginning of the next year, together with the serial communication too.

Is there any update on this? I am trying to use pc-Duino-IO on my pcDuino3b running Linux 4.20.0-rc7-00010-g62393db with node v11.5.0 and npm v6.4.1. Unfortunately, it takes a lot to keep the pcDuino3 up to date and I fear that all libraries are, well, dead. To even use the blink program with the pc-Duino-IO it requires iotduino, but if I2C was never supported, I don't see how the author of pc-Duino-IO ever got their node working... ever...

Please advise...

Unfortunatelly this project (iotDuino) will receive no new features nor updates.

Related to your other question. I can't really speak in the name of the other project (pc-Duino-IO), which seem to use the iotDuino lib, but indeed I2C was never supported by iotDuino lib. However, this does not necessarily mean that the other project didn't had support for I2C, since it may have used another library or maybe it has an own implementation.
