WHY can't I analyse on my 4cat with CSV file

Hi everyone, I have been trying to analyse a dataset (in csv file ) on my 4cat but i cant. I am currently on the 1.50v and running on Docker.. is anyone having this problem too?

any direction would help

Hi @Sammbaeker, please describe in more detail what you are trying to do, and how it is not working (e.g. what error messages you see), so we can better understand what your problem is.

We are looking for an error occurring at the same time (or near enough) to the error you are seeing. I do see one with the ImageDownloader. Which, because it is in the front end, may just be blocking you from seeing the page. I will try to check tomorrow, but that may be fixed. (It feels familiar but I need to look into it.)

If it is fixed already, going to the Control Panel -> Restart and using the upgrade to branch feature, you could type master there and upgrade. That setting may need to be enabled in the setting under user privileges though.

I tried to restart from my 4cat (in control panel ) still showing the same problem when i initiated the same action (clicking on analysis a CSV file form the dataset section). i attached the logs (the Back end and Front End logs) from Docker

I have exact same error. I use data from Zeeschuimer extension but error everytime click on analysis.

Ok. This was fixed. You need to a) wait for a new 4CAT release or b) update your instance of 4CAT to the master branch as mentioned previously.

In the restart screen in the control panel:

Update to the master branch:

Note the "it is very easy to break" and smartly back up your volume drives. Or, ya know, risk it.

If you do not see the option to upgrade to a branch, enable it in your settings panel under "User privileges":

@dale-wahl now i have problem with my frontend starting, only the backend, 4cat_memcached, and db start, my front end refuses to. is it as result of upgrading to "Master"?

You appear to have changed which Postgres image you are using. The POSTGRES_TAG in the .env file determines this. Check the 4cat_db logs and see if they say what version you were using. You could switch back to that. Otherwise you could try to follow those instructions to update the database.

I do not see how updating to master alone via the UI could have caused that at all…
