Setup Spark1.2.1 on quickstartVM

i am not seeing "hive-site.xml -> /etc/hive/conf/hive.site.xml"

after that i am not able to follow the steps to setup.
please help me to resolve this issue.

1. not able to see the version of spaark
2. no hadoop cluster but it seems flume
