Using "Predefined Search Categories Dropdown" with new JS files

I'm hoping to add a predefined search by specific categories using the code suggested in the Wiki entry. . However, the instructions ask to edit the old jquery.dataTables.min.js file, which does not exist in the current iteration of csv-to-html-table. What would be the appropriate file/place to add the "searchBar" attribute so that the script can work?
