Disables arrow keys in dropdown menus as well

I've been using this plug-in to force myself to use the HJKL keys for navigating through my LaTeX documents, using Vintageous. It works very well, but there is one major downside: in some of the dropdown menus, arrow keys are disabled as well. I should add that it does not disable arrow keys in all dropdown menus. The ctrl/command + shift + p still works, for example.

Notably:

• The Command/Control + P menu, very useful for jumping to other files
• Dropdowns for autocomplete (like used by latex-cwl)

Is there any way to fix this?
