My Sisters and I would love to see this pulled into Mr Churches work as well as to see this documented in FreeNAS, any idea as to when we can expect to see this up streamed?

I've been testing this internally, and working out a few rough edges yet. I don't see the ixnas-api's be included in vm-bhyve - as that is pure shell, but very likely as a FreeBSD port, and can be installed along side vm-bhyve's port/package.

I'll probably put in the pull request to Churchers this week, however he hasn't been active in a while. I'll likely also create a second FreeBSD port - something like "vm-bhyve-iscsi" - and get it committed in the ports tree so it can be used without merging upstream.

My boss also wants to do some FreeNAS/iXsystems videos ... but other things have been getting in the way of completing those.

However, this should be completely usable as-is, via the git checkouts ... just a little bit more cumbersome.
