I wanted to touch base regarding the recent disagreement over climate change. This is undoubtedly an emotionally charged issue, and it's understandable that passions can run high on both sides. However, for the sake of maintaining a respectful and constructive environment, I kindly ask that we refrain from personal attacks or aggressive language, even when we strongly disagree.

The community guidelines in our Collaborative Culture Community Policy aim to foster thoughtful, evidence-based discussions, free of misinformation. While there is room for reasonable disagreement, outright climate change denial goes against the overwhelming scientific consensus and should not be promoted here. Furthermore, emotional attacks will result in an immediate and uncontestable ban.

I understand this is a sensitive topic, tied to people's deeply held beliefs. My goal is not to silence certain perspectives but to have discussions in a spirit of empathy and mutual understanding. It would be great if we could share knowledge and ideas about AI without diving into political controversies. I expect all participants in this community to demonstrate a professional level of emotional intelligence and information literacy.

If the conversation veers repeatedly into unproductive territory, I may need to consider appropriate action per our policy. But I hope we can self-moderate and keep things respectful. Please review the policy guide if you need a refresher on our shared values.

My aim is to make this an open and welcoming space for all.
